The Pre-Advanced placement (Pre-AP) Program at Mater Lakes Academy is a program which gives students enrolled in grades 6-8 an opportunity to be a part of an enthusiastic community of students who are excited about learning. The courses that are offered are advanced courses designed to challenge and motivate students to understand rigorous content. Pre-AP middle school courses are designed to prepare students for high school Advanced Placement (AP) courses. AP courses are college-level courses taught in a high school setting. At the end of each AP course, an AP Exam is given. Qualifying scores on the AP exams can enable students to receive college credit and/or advanced standing at a university or college. Application process is required for acceptance into this program and you may contact the school's Guidance Department for further details.
