CPR Training for MLA Students

Our physical education department is teaching our students about CPR. It is a benefit to be informed and further the education of wellness.

Our MLA students are receiving CPR training through their physical education classes. It is a great way to keep all students informed for emergency situations. In order to perform CPR, an individual would need to have a certification, which is another program that MLA offers. We are partnered with Barry University and offer the EMT program after the student has completed their health classes. With this program, students after all qualifications are met will receive a certificate in EMT. Our health classes as well include CPR as a part of the curriculum and become certified as well. Currently, Mrs. Jimenez, one of our health teachers and certified trainer, is educating the students on the topic and process of CPR.
