AP Italian Language and Culture.
The primary objective of this course is to develop students’ proficiency in the four modes of communication in the Intermediate to Pre-Advanced range as described by the ACTFL Performance Guidelines for K-12 Learners within a cultural frame of reference reflective of the richness of the Italian language and culture.
The AP Italian Language and Culture course revolves around six course themes (Global Challenges, Science and Technology, Contemporary Life, Personal and Public Identities, Families and Communities and Beauty and Aesthetic) which integrate language, content and culture into an interrelated series of lessons and activities that promote the use of the target language in a variety of contexts.
